As of my last update in September 2021, "Luck" is a 2009 Bollywood film directed by Soham Shah and produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Imran Khan, Shruti Haasan, Mithun Chakraborty, and others.
Here's a brief synopsis of the movie:
"Luck" revolves around the concept of gambling, luck, and destiny. The story follows a young man named Ram (played by Imran Khan), who is caught in the clutches of a high-stakes gambling underworld. The gambling mafia, led by the powerful and ruthless mafia boss Musa Bhai (played by Sanjay Dutt), organizes a deadly game where people from different parts of the world bet on the lives of contestants.
Ram, due to his exceptional luck, is selected to participate in this dangerous game, and the stakes are incredibly high - both for him and for those who bet on his life. Each participant is tasked with facing various life-threatening challenges, and if they survive, they win an enormous amount of money. However, failure means losing their life.
During the game, Ram finds unexpected allies and foes. He forms a bond with Ayesha (played by Shruti Haasan), a woman who has her own reasons for being involved in the game. Together, they navigate through a series of deadly challenges, always aware of the looming danger that surrounds them.
As the story unfolds, Ram begins to question the true nature of luck and whether it's merely chance or something more profound. He also seeks to unravel the mysteries behind the sinister game and its mastermind, Musa Bhai.
"Luck" is a thrilling and action-packed movie that explores the darker side of luck and the lengths people will go to win big, even at the cost of their lives. It delves into themes of destiny, greed, and the human spirit's resilience in the face of adversity.
